As in something VW Golf (or Model Y, for that matter) shaped not this low sports car shape for something that's not even meant to be driven, let alone driven for fun

Using machine learning to do specific tasks suited to it exists and is useful - transformer language models were invented specifically as a Google Translate improvement. However, the market (and discourse) has of course been swamped by slop machines who can pay the best engineers millions for sloppy

I'd have thought to flood paddies you'd want clay soil that doesn't drain? That said rice doesn't *need* flooded paddies, it's just convenient to control weeds and pests, but good draining sand might not be ideal for it

Yeah that much I know, but my British tea doesn't cost close to 80ยข a cup, it's not even 8ยข - I typically get a box of 80 teabags for ~ยฃ3 and it's a decent fairtrade brand

I think the cooling water from servers technically can heat pools - typical pool temps are like 25-27ยฐC and computer chips run tens of degrees hotter. You'd use a heat exchanger not swim directly in it. Location, and the fact that a pool doesn't need 100s of MW of heat, are not helping though...

The difference is that one is unusual and they're clearly trying to hide it, which you don't do for gifting but you do for bribery. Also since when is it only cops and government officials who can be bribed? Like do you actually believe this, are you trolling, or embarrassed and doubling down?

Right, but if I'm taking my friend out for dinner I'd pay the bill in plain sight not slip the waiter the money in a crisp packet. I'm not an expert in Chinese traditions but I'm willing to bet the same goes for red envelopes

Is it just me or does the second page read like the first page run through an LLM to come up with a bunch of metaphors? Still I presume they meant what they said, and sound like an AI true believer even

A.I. is popular because it gives you the experience of being a boss: you get to give annoyingly specific instructions about how to do something you don't actually know how to do yourself, and then claim credit for the end result.

Idk, if you count user as "someone who put a query into it within the past 30 days" the number could be sizeable. People who spend any money on it, and would be more than mildly annoyed if it was gone however...

Coca-Cola's valuation is based on steady soft drinks sales with not that much headroom to expand.

OpenAI's valuation is based on we're totally on the verge of making the machine god and taking over the whole economy and it's definitely not a bubble!

With this being said, a problem with lot of places in the US is that there are too few too big houses, and strong nimbyism against them. Could be worse though, could be the UK where houses are in short supply *and* small
