God forbid the US no longer sits on top of the entire world as a bully.

China rising is good for humanity. Same with India, and Malaysia, Indonesia, Nigeria, Vietnam, Brazil. Same with the global south as a whole.

McCarthyism was defeated in the courts. Do we think a 6-3 Supreme Court is willing to fight the newest iteration?

McCarthyism was also more public. Now we have masked ICE agents disappearing people. I applaud the attempt to maintain hope but this is grasping at straws.

Long-term peace will not be achieved by nuclear proliferation. It's sacrificing humanity's safety in order to prolong medium-term safety via MAAD. Setting up a house of cards that can be taken down by one back-into-a-corner leader is reckless, short-sighted neoliberal geopolitics that needs to end.

Greed is Not Good Neither, necessarily, is Growth
