The definitive color flats have been added to the character. "step 5. Add the flats ! tips: I usually limit myself to two dominant hues to set a solid color sheme.(in this case,orange and olive-green). "

Added some glowy effect on some part of Gerbyl. "step 6. add highlights on reflective areas (skin, metal, hair..). tips: I use a spray brush for a gradient effect + a solid brush for the details. I do all this on the same layer, I just pick the colors according to what i think looks best on each part. "

She now has shadows. "step 7. add a shadows layer on normal mode at 40~50% opacity."

"step 8. Finally, add a very low opacity gradient starting from the character's base. tips: This last touch accentuates the sketch's chromatic atmosphere and focus the eye on the upper part of the character. and voilà ! ♫"

I like how flowy the shapes are!
