That is my point though, I've never heard someone have a negative experience with the promo as most players in my experience were indifferent

In that case it was anecdotally just a positive value add, and now it's being taken away like sample collector packs or buy a box promos

+ this for the win

The issue is that this was a POSITIVE thing for players or NEUTRAL thing for players that didn't have a downside for players

Complaining about it is like saying "oh gorshhh my lobster is too buttery"

THAT is the underlying problem, they're taking away all the small joys in this game

WOTC has made the leaks official and I can finally officially say this card is fucking WIIIIILLLLDDD <3

It could ultimately end up being trash but good lord is powerful!

Today I was promoted at work. I am now a Principal Game Designer for Magic: the Gathering.

On all fairness though, kitchen table games allow proxies, there's nothing but elitism stopping that so I would say this is just greed, I doubt they were given this product at some price like $100 to resell at $309 from riot, I would believe it's much lower and they're profiting from demand heavy
