Obvious point this, but people need to stop believing what they are told by Farage, GB News, and the general declinist and alarmist media narrative and start paying attention to what is really going on regarding crime in this country.

I’m not shouting nationalise it to get a ‘glow of righteousness’ and I don’t think it’s easy. Things at this scale rarely are but it doesn’t mean they can’t be done, The status quo is no longer tenable however and privatisation - in my view - has had a one way benefit.

I think the water companies are already doing that to them. Maybe invest in ethical, non-destructive funds? And, not really into sweary conversations if you don’t mind.

The system is broken I’m afraid. It needs a great reset.

The Labour government should just seize the water companies back from the private sector asset strippers. They’ve already been paid for their ‘investment’ many times over so they should receive nothing and government should take them all back under public control.

No. If they’re too tired, they should retire. They don’t have to travel to constituencies, they don’t have constituents to help, and they should sit longer than the Commons.
