If the VA doesn't work out and I'm lucky, I can buy and use a vehicle like a used RV or a modified van to live in... but that also depends on how long I'm able and willing to drive, and if I afford to get a driver's license, registration, and insurance.

Needless to say, my future is pretty bleak.

I can see the Veterans Administration (VA) wiped out by the changes that Donald J. Trump is invoking this year, and whatever this destructive administration plans on doing over the next few years.

I can foresee the end of my disability payments.

I can foresee the end of my Social Security, too.

I'm in my 50s now. Odds are, I've got 20-30 more years left (accident or illness notwithstanding). As I decline, I'll have nobody in my corner--no spouse, no siblings, no nieces/nephews, no children/grandchildren, no long-term friends--to care for me. That'll all be on the VA.

If we still have one.

I've seen this dismissive attitude more than once. "Oh, I've had COVID three times, it's no big deal."

Sure. Of course. Maybe not to THAT person, but it is no doubt QUITE a big deal to whoever they went on to infect, and the impact it had on others' lives.

Covid-19 has caused a breakdown in human rationality. Most people have embraced a mentality of delusion, carelessly denying the extreme danger of Covid-19 and recklessly surrendering to repeated infections. As a result, irreparable harm is steadily destroying their essential well-being.

The last times I've flown, I've gone to UPS and mailed whatever I might need to my destination, ordered other things through Amazon and had those delivered, then just carried a personal bag onboard--not even a carry-on, just in case they charged me or took it at the gate.

I'm in my 50s, but I genuinely have anxiety about going out to restaurants with my mother, because throughout my childhood, she was NEVER satisfied. Something was always wrong and she ALWAYS complained about it. (I once tried to eat half-cooked pancakes before she saw, just to avoid a scene.)

Americans do nothing but bitch and complain about high taxes but then in low-tax situations, our country falls to pot (i.e. bad roads) and then we bitch and complain about that.

We're simply trained from birth to complain about everything, and we think nothing of it.

Except that in TrumpWorld...

- no consumer reports, no problems;
- saves money by cutting VA programs;
- Social Security programs are a "luxury";
- small businesses need to make money first;
- "ill" people are a burden;
- the poor need to get a job.

The US isn't taking care of Americans any more.
