i think this is the best counterargument for talent not being real I've seen,

but you still worked at that by synthesizing knowledge you've developed and applied it in a novel outlet. your "talent" in this sense is still trained and learned and executed over time, and was not a natural thing.

there's an AI take floating around and... i want to be sensitive to the kind of frustration that can come with trying and feeling like you can't succeed, but at the same time any artist I know would say:
1. talent is fake. you just work at it.
2. failing is educational. look at the frieren meme.

the fundamental skill of a slab is identical to that of contour gestures with the added benefit of being able to see your cursor. you don't need a mount, your view of your canvas is never occluded by your humanlike flippers. it's great.
