Good gracious. We canβt have unwashed common people walking around posh neighbourhoods ! Iβm sure Reform will legislate to make this an offence & to have these vagabonds flogged.

V concerned about animal welfare, environment, climate change. Advocating for a fairer/ kinder/greener world. European. Apparently, Iβm a neoliberal loony left centrist. π€ "Β‘No pasarΓ‘n!βHaters & abusive people (inter alia) blocked.

14.02.2026 09:42 β π 8 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0They should but they wonβt, sadly. Itβs just like the Tories part 2, sadly, despite there being lots of decent Labour MPs on the back benches, who are clearly unhappy with the ongoing incompetence.
13.02.2026 11:02 β π 6 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I'm not a party person. I just want a fairer, kinder, greener world. I'm delighted to see how well the Greens are doing. But we also need a strong and sincere Labour Party, and it is an absolute tragedy to see how Keir Starmer and his moral bypass of a government have ruined it.
13.02.2026 10:42 β π 329 π 45 π¬ 8 π 3Starmer and Labour shoot themselves in the foot again. Add to the ever growing list of errors & cock ups.
13.02.2026 10:58 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ratcliffe doesnβt even live in the U.K. His British passport should be cancelled.
12.02.2026 07:04 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Ratcliffe has no place in any civilised society.
12.02.2026 07:02 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Bizarre non-sequitur reply by Starmer.
11.02.2026 12:37 β π 165 π 34 π¬ 37 π 1Every day seems to bring more misery and embarrassment for Starmer. You keep thinking it canβt get any worse for him, and thenβ¦β¦
11.02.2026 19:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0They seem to care more about petty points scoring & squabbling, sadly. Clearly, of course, all the right wing ever care about is money, even when the world is going to hell in a handcart. As the last tree on earth goes up in flames, the Tory & Reform ghouls will be checking their bank balance.
11.02.2026 15:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So many farmersβ fields are flooded atm, destroying the crops. You would think it would dawn on the politicians that this isnβt good for the economy & urgent action is required, yet they seem more focused on fighting civil wars & persecuting migrants. π€·ββοΈ
11.02.2026 13:18 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I agree. Itβs the number 1 issue facing humanity by a long way, and all politicians should be treating it as such.
11.02.2026 12:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Avoidable tragedies like this shouldnβt be happening in one of the wealthiest countries in the world. Sometimes in life mistakes happen, but cases like this, where repeated failures occur, point to negligence imo. Those responsible need to be held accountable.

Ed Miliband talks a lot of sense. Without doubt the best of the Labour Cabinet.
10.02.2026 08:32 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Beavers are amazing creatures, in their own right, but when you look at the knock on benefits, the creation of habitats for all kinds of other creatures and the ability of those habitats to hold storm water - they really are a gift.

Indeed. FPTP undermines the very foundation of democracy, whereby a party can gain a substantial majority with as little as a third of the vote. Millions (the majority) are effectively disenfranchised. Little wonder people are angry & turning to extremes.
09.02.2026 22:03 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Indeed. The Labour membership voted for PR but Starmer rejected it. Just one of his many errors, though a very serious mistake.
09.02.2026 21:59 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The daft thing is that with Proportional Representation there'd be no need for this self-destructive war within Labour. It could split into its component parts - left and right - and people could vote for what they wanted. It's only First-Past-the-Post that forces these irreconcilables together.
09.02.2026 08:52 β π 1755 π 424 π¬ 81 π 22You talk of decency, yet your posts are full of nastiness and insults. If anyone or anything is destroying Labour, your attitude encapsulates it perfectly. π€·ββοΈ
09.02.2026 21:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Simon Opher. Even though I didnβt vote for him, heβs a brilliant constituency MP. Proper Labour. If he stands again, I would probably switch to Labour at the next election.
09.02.2026 18:46 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The exact opposite, actually. For the sake of Lab Party, country & economy, Starmer must go immediately. His leadership has been a disaster, throwing away all the goodwill from the GE. I say that as someone who voted for him in the leadership election. Good lawyer, but a terrible politician, sadly.
09.02.2026 16:12 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Unfortunately for Starmer, he seems to lack any political instincts and is nowhere near as effective political operator as Blair (before he blew it over Iraq). Starmerβs terrible judgment has cast a massive shadow over Labourβs positive changes. It can only get worse if he carries on.
09.02.2026 16:03 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Starmer needs to acknowledge he didnβt win a huge mandate β the Tories collapsed, so Labour strolled in.
Corbyn actually lost with more votes.
What did McSweeney do next? Advise Labour into the lowest poll ratings in its history.
So spare us the tears over McSweeneyβs resignation.

Labourβs Director of Communications, Tim Allan, has stepped down.
Yes. Like you, I am shocked to hear that Labour actually had a Director of Communications.
Tim Allan for years was a key corporate adviser to the Murdoch media empire. Says it all really. The revolving door on the gravy train for the elite.
09.02.2026 11:38 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I seriously doubt it. Starmerβs ship has hit so many icebergs its fate is sealed. Rearranging the deck chairs isnβt going to stop him sinking.
08.02.2026 15:23 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Indeed. That would be a u-turn we could all get behind.
08.02.2026 15:14 β π 15 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Indeed. Good riddance, but Iβm not sure removing one just rotten apple will solve the many problems.
08.02.2026 15:12 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Times report: Allies of Rayner said they believed that Wes Streeting, the health secretary, would be βruinedβ by the mass disclosure of all communications with Mandelson in coming months. Streeting and Mandelson were close allies for years.
In these dark days of February, a little something to look forward to.
07.02.2026 06:42 β π 2718 π 733 π¬ 120 π 100I now live in a semi rural location in England. There is a train station, but the hourly service is often cancelled or delayed. The buses are frequently late & the roads are full of pot holes. In one of the wealthiest countries globally, why do British people put up with such inferior services?
07.02.2026 10:54 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The affordability crisis is deepening. Millions of ordinary people are struggling. What exactly is the government doing to urgently address this? π€
