I think we watched different speeches....

Visibly believes that she has put the hours in working while all her policy suggestions are just obviously picked up on Twitter without any critical thought before they end up as policy. Visibly confused as to who was in office 2010 to 2024.

Similarly, I find thinkers with direct lived experience of far right dictatorship, Greeks of a certain age for example, crystal clear about what’s happening now.

Media’s semantic dodge of a concept, fascist, that may be (is) a fact, the acknowledgment of which wld require a paradigm shift in coverage.

Well worth a listen all round - but particularly for the interview with Magen Inon.

Thanks for this. I've stopped watching the press preview unless I know someone like Ian is on. I'll get the rest on catch up. Far too few people on Sky now who actually call a spade a spade.

Neither of these claims is quite right—our fact check has the figures 👇

The silence of European governments about ICE's thuggish activities this weekend in Chicago and Portland is not going to be sustainable for very much longer. If you call it out when you see it in Belarus, you need to call it out when you see it in Illinois.

Fascist-adjacent ‘journalists’ help by insisting that we shouldn’t call fascists facsists.
