In Syd’s Voice with @deanbwilson.bsky.social is a cracking read about a cricketer who made a difference. The exploration of racism is outstanding. Maybe David Lawrence would have had a bigger impact as a fast bowler in a today’s environment. Definitely worth a read.

The Lone Wolf is such an enjoyable read. It’s a thoughtful exploration of the story a Wolf travelling through Southern Europe but also a sympathetic understanding of the complexities facing rural communities, migration, nostalgia, folklore and societal change.
Lots of questions for all of us.
