Think of it as tapered shapes, thats what I do. Better yet, draw shapes instead of strokes and then fill in the shapes with a few strokes to represent hair pattern. POC hair is also shapes but different strokes for whichever pattern you're going for.

Tell your brain it's okay to slow down and focus where you can. It won't want to listen because it's already overwhelmed and frustrated but I promise it gets better.

It's similar for me, written instruction is how I retain most information however the part of my adhd doesn't want to read because my brain thinks it's too much work. I'm here to tell you it's not too much work because you're doing it for your own peace. Animations are extra hard to learn btw igetit

If you have adhd I do not recommend going to fast for something that requires your focus. I did the same thing and got overwhelmed and didn't do the studies. But if you don't have adhd you should be okay learning bits and peices from different tutorials in the same timeframe.
