Sometimes the Imposter syndrome is bad, but when I see things like this (and also having more than 10k downloads on Itch alone) makes me believe that we are doing cool things!

My only concern with a federated hub is that the thing that makes eCommerce as good as it is is the centralization just for the usability of its search functionality. Maybe look into what Bluesky is doing with its AT protocols?

We use so many tools as creators and I really feel like we need one app that’s friendly towards creators, doesn’t try to screw over them and just wants to see them grow.

We don’t need 90% of the features of all those platform so imagine one app that has the 10% of each platform we actually need.

Swambore enjoy a sedentary lifestyle and wallow in mud to keep bug Genmon from biting them while they rest. When provoked, a Swambore’s otherwise idle personality flips like a switch and they will pursue those that annoy or threaten them for miles.

It's apparently GenCon and it's a bummer we didn't get to go and show off A Monster's Tail so here's Swambore. I hear she's about to evolve! Maybe with a few shares and likes she'll get the energy.

Itch may take less but the website has never really boosted the TTRPGs that it hosts either. Its search functionality and its overall marketplace for users is also wildly poor.

That we have basically just these two choose from is all the argument I think we need for more competition.

If Drivethru, or Itch, can simply wipe your games out without prior notice simply because a payment system is being strong armed by a puritanical minority or remove a work because a few people got angry at the message of the game, the marketplace isn't equitable for the exchange.

Certainly need something. Drivethru is so vendor unfriendly with its UI and its pricing practices. Not to mention it incentivizes (poorly, a 5% decrease in their take isn't much incentive) a non-compete clause to vendors while also not assuring any sort of protection of the vendors goods is a joke.

Thought about this and you last night when everything was hitting the fan. I don't know how much I can help or do, but I'm certainly interested in it from the standpoint of a vendor.
