Why is it that when artists share their sketches and WIP it's a beautiful showcase of their technical abilities, compared to my writing outlines that are just bullshit non sequitur notes like "luciforous light bulbs" and "power nexus adjust aurora level"?

Right. I suppose we should expect some percentage of non-tech oriented folk to fall for the illusion. And I think we can blame marketing for that. These chatbots are designed to fool people into thinking there's intelligent consciousness in there. It takes a level of understanding to see past that.

Understandable. A big issue with the use of AI is the anthropomorphism taking place. People think ChatGPT is their friend or therapist or romantic partner or whatever and it's truly terrifying. Even when people talk about it "hallucinating". Your chatbot isn't tripping, it's just an unreliable tool.

I think the complete refusal of any regulation and irresponsibility of those promoting its use is what's being considered evil, here.

It's a solid opinion! We're considering reaching out to some APs leading up to our KS campaign for Stargazer Keep, but this kind of marketing is kind of new for me. Not sure where to start.

Reddit became a marketing powerhouse when the Google algorithm started giving Reddit threads priority a year or two ago. It's kind of nuts. You don't even need to pay for ads, just find subs that are cool with self-promo posts and follow the rules!

When did I get so old

Not sure if this counts as a hot take, but the more a game offers, the less I want to play/run it. I'm far more interested in a super focused experience with exactly the amount of rules I need to run a specific type of game.

The only issue with the transparency tool is you can only apply it to an object once. Why won't you let me fade from 2 edges?

So I'm unintentionally on a vampire movie kick. Within the past week I've watched Sinners, Last Voyage of the Demeter, and Robert Eggers' Nosferatu. It wasn't until I finished Nosferatu last night that I realized it was a running theme! Any other recent vampire movie releases I should check out?
