Hey. I’m still here. Busy first term at new job, here’s me, on a day trip to Hexham!

From being scared of the gym to entering the ballot for my first half marathon, Shaving 16 seconds off my average 500m splits on a rowing machine and being in the best shape I’ve ever been. It’s only been a couple of months but I’ve loved every second of it!

Really good weekend, but I’ve missed the gym and never thought I’d say that! Heading down now for a quick session then back home for some sorting, tidying and gaming!

…But when supposed journalists hurl insults and call sets of fans ‘pricks’ and ‘bin dippers’ or tell me I’m committing human rights violations by supporting my team their journalistic integrity evaporates.

Just enjoy football and have healthy debate without hurling insults. Not difficult.

I can’t change who owns the football club I support. We once used to say “support the team, not the regime” and that’s true. I don’t really buy in to football banter either, think it’s really quite asinine…(cont)

…so this has been a real turning point and it’s really had an improvement on my mental health too. I’ve then prepped some dinner for tonight and now im editing a few videos before doing some gaming, which now feels like a proper reward!

I’ve been doing some apple fitness stuff at home and this week started my first ever gym membership, spent about 40 minutes doing a mix of weights and rowing this morning, finished with a sauna. I’ve never been very active…

Greece was amazing, I’m back, sufficiently tanned and feeling healthier than ever. Working out daily and getting in a better headspace for the new term starting. Plenty of gaming stuff coming too!

I finished the first draft of a 45 min play script this week. It’s been a passion project since last year. I haven’t written anything since around 2014. I feel such a sense of accomplishment, my new job has restored my love of the arts and creativity! Feels really good to have that spark back!
