- can only float and mournfully wail
- were murdered ten years ago on this very spot

My version of ‘Whamageddon’ is to listen to Last Xmas EVERY DAY of December because it’s a banger that makes me feel Christmassy and nostalgic and George Michael was a brilliant pop song writer and all round decent bloke.

Big, ugly, snuggly fleecy things are essential in this weather. The one I’m wearing today looks like it was fashioned from the hide of a mange ridden Womble, but it’s cosy as hell.

I had a lot of fun doing Richard Pulsford’s It Just So Happened podcast last August and I’m really looking forward to doing two more episodes this Fringe.

My 2024 non-work writing goals are pretty similar to my 2023 non-work writing goals.

(Actually they are identical because, unfortunately, procrastination is my special talent.)

Spare a thought for all the first wives who had to die so that we could have Hallmark Christmas movies.

Progress report - I’ve actually written 800 words, only around 2,000 and several edits to go!

Ken’s Sunday blogs were something I always looked forward to over on the Other Place, so it’s fitting and good that his post linking to this week’s blog was one of the first things I saw over here…

For the last year or so I’ve been faffing about with an idea for a piece of (non-work) writing, but have not really got beyond making notes.

I’m now challenging myself to write and submit the piece by the end of the year.
