Yes, I've read Mistborn and the first 3 of the Stormlight Archive. I really liked both. The SA is a commitment. All of those books are sooo long. The Way of Kings was my favorite of the series. The series seemed to drag just a bit for me as the books progressed, but they're still solid.

We over-sexualize the human body meanwhile we've become desensitized to violence. Nothing illustrates this better than tv and movies. I'm not calling for us to abandon modesty, but our culture has gotten out of balance.

It's interesting how as a society we find sexuality (the very process by which we're all created) vulgar and offensive, yet we glorify guns, violence, war, and killing. I'm not saying we should all go streaking, but we've got things way the hell out of balance with our moral outrage.

Me too! When and if it happens we need to make sure we permanently brand all the Trump enablers appropriately. They shouldn't just get to move on to whatever the next iteration of the Republican party may be.

That's so horrible. It's easy to see these incidents as things that happen to other people in rare cases, but it turns out it's way too common and has probably happened to someone you know. A lot of men are shit.
