Finally finished the #thousandsons Infernal Master in non metallic metal! Manually painting the gold shading took a long time but taught me a lot about how to fake reflections!

Got a speedpaint scheme ready for the rest of the #ageofsigmar skeleton horde. I think I'll use a darker color for the hair and base details to help boost the contrast.

I’m not blending between the colors on this one for time’s sake but I think I’ve got a good formula down for doing gold. The final edge highlights in ivory really finishes the effect!

It’s a kind of runny paint called streaking grime that you put on all over, then wipe off with mineral spirits, leaving the color in all the crevices. Free weathering!

One of the hardest parts about #minipainting is learning to trust the process. Sometimes you’ve gotta just send it and try out a new technique.
