This is a straight up North Korea state sanctioned hairstyle proposed law for youth.

The US used the Alien Enemies Act to detain their families. Now, they are watching history repeat. The statute justified the imprisonment in World War II of thousands like Heidi Gurcke Donald. She is horrified as Trump invokes it for mass deportation.

“When you allow the rule of law to disappear for one group of people in the country, it will soon disappear for everybody. And then we lose everything we believe the US should stand for.”

As Trump invokes the same statute to justify mass deportations, consider these messages a critical warning.

The most dangerous authoritarian regimes flood the public sphere with so many lies, distortions, and contradictions that people lose their ability--and desire--to distinguish truth and falsehood.
