An intense storm is bringing snow to the Carolinas coast. This storm passes just south of Sable Is overnight then south of NL Monday. Heavy snow & strong winds (outages?) over mostly the Ern half of NS tonight & early Monday. Halifax on the edge (pics); prepare for the worst but hope for the best.

Today along the waterfront in Halifax we saw a very full moon and a bunch of curious otters. I wasn’t quick enough to get the otter above water, but I still think this picture is pretty cool!

Got out for a walk down to the waterfront. Most sidewalks have at least 1 side cleared downtown. SP bike path is clear (at least by the public gardens). Side street sidewalks not cleared yet. Path through Camp Hill cemetery is clear. Intersection corners not yet cleared for accessibility devices.
