Outstanding! Four Wor-Wic honors students attended the Maryland Collegiate Honors Council conference recently. Two of them presented at the event: Gearan Garrison-Wright and Torre' Phillips. Gearan won an award for best poster, and Torre', who took home an award for best abstract.

Brenda Stephens of Harrington is a crew chief in the U.S. Air Force, as well as a Wor-Wic student and a future welder. Her goal is to become a certified weld inspector – a highly respected professional who ensures the safety and integrity of welds. “Education is an important part of that,” she said.
