New podcast alert! I'm giving it a try.

I've never read Jane Austen (please don't tell my wife, because she's read everything printed since Gutenberg, and she's always flabbergasted at the yawning gaps in my reading history), but I have seen "Clueless," which I didn't particularly like. So there.

For the record (and posterity), I'm not collecting books, just reading them. The only things I collect are unicycles, juggling props and enemies.

I once thought of becoming a Wodehouse Completist, but he wrote even more books than Christie, productively wasted even more of his life, so I focused on Jeeves & Wooster. Mission not accomplished! I'm still a few books short.

¹ I'll probably avoid the Mary Westmacott books. Life is too short for pseudonyms.

I'm reading this for the first time, plus I've never seen the countless movies. I kind of know the solution; nevertheless, I'm taking the journey. It's the only way to become a Christie Completist¹. The problem is that she wasted her life being way too productive. The sheer number of books! Kill me.

My son's freshman-year roommate was from Ethiopia. One roommate was subsidizing the other, and it sure as hell wasn't the one from the wealthiest nation on Earth.

My wife was working a court-ordered shift overseeing the game and a Scrabble™-themed craft in the kid zone of a festival. This was in lieu of a weekend in jail.

Hopefully, she has learned her lesson and has a new-found respect for our trademark laws.

Sabotaged an oversized Scrabble™ board with my extensive knowledge of Norwegian vocabulary¹, so it's been a productive day.

I experienced something new today: bluegrass hip-hop. The band is #Gangstagrass, and they are very good.
