I think it needs to be pointed out as well that Visa is clearly losing money off these calls clogging their systems and still thought it was worth the money to re-train their employees/contractors. They're not scared enough to drop the issue altogether, people need to keep calling and snail-mailing.

I actually have no idea! 😅 The tree was from my parents and transplanted in 2019. It fruits every other year or every third year, depending on how things go weather wise, but they are incredibly sweet. Also planted a second one which hasn’t fruited yet. Sorry I don’t have a better answer!

Yeah, we mostly eat them as-is, but we also peel and freeze some and in the winter make jam or even “bars” by mixing with other ingredients!

Did a fig harvest yesterday, all this is from one single tree! Ballpark around 130 figs and probably a few dozen more that aren’t ready yet. This tree was going for overachiever status for sure!

Please please please just make your fucking comic. It doesn't have to have mass appeal or be marketable. I'm literally making a comic about gay aztec steampunks. A publisher would laugh me out the door. I still have a budding audience!! And even then! If it brings you joy, make the fucking comic!

So when you guys do you daily calls today you should ask mastercard what illegal adult content they found on these content creation platforms. Tell them to make names. When they give you the runaround say "but what have you found that's illegal".

They won't because there was never an investigation

It's maddening! I've really come to believe in the power of newsletters and patreons, just going directly to the people who actually want to hear from you is so much more effective, even if it's a smaller audience than social, it's concentration makes it entirely worthwhile.

It does seem like IG has really fallen off to getting people engaged in a meaningful way. For LightBox Expo, we have over 225,000 followers on IG and some posts get less than 100 likes (not that we're owed anything, just to show the level it doesn't even penetrate anymore)

I personally love seeing that stuff, but if you are not seeing the kind of engagement or interest in it, your perspective as the artist is much different than mine as the 'consumer' who loves seeing cool art.

Why did thousands of adult titles just disappear from the biggest PC gaming marketplaces? Digital distribution platforms Steam and itch.io have tightened their rules about adult content – under pressure from payment processors. Why has this happened and where will it lead?

Steam and itch.io have removed thousands of video games in recent weeks deemed to be "adult content" in order to comply with strict rules from payment processors like Mastercard.

These policies censor artists engaged in lawful speech. Mastercard shouldn't be the gatekeepers of our digital freedom.
