Oh, I agree, it just seems match bears mentioning in the article.

This feels out of date considering we've had match statements in Python for a few years now. They may not be the exact same thing, as they don't utilize jump tables, but they're syntactically similar enough.

My Facebook feed is mostly AI slop photo galleries of โFrench Country Cottagesโ with hundreds of comments โSo beautiful!โ
But last night was the first time I caught bad AI in a setup for an otherwise functional recipe. It was subtle and confusing. Too nonsensical to be a typo. AI doesnโt grok food.

Minnesota, like the rest of the northeastern and north-central North America, has eight seasons: spring, summer, sauna, autumn, stick, winter, arctic, and mud.

FedEx: Failing Every Delivery EXpertly.
My "next day" delivery package for work was supposed to be delivered by 12:20pm. Then by 8pm, guaranteed. It's now 9:38pm, and the tracking says by "end of day". Signature required. I ain't staying up until midnight!

Penpot is extremely inexpensive, and I've heard it's every bit as good as Figma.
11.02.2025 13:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0
It is, and incredibly inexpensive. Besides the garden space (even some indoor pots will do), you only need twine, scissors, a colinder, some sort of rack to hang the herbs on (see picture), a mortar and pestle, and a few glass bottles for storing results.

I also dried lavender, oregano, basil, thyme, and sage.

I grew herbs in my garden this past summer and fall, cut and hung them to dry in my kitchen, and then just today hand ground them with a brand new stone mortar and pestle I got at Target for only $20. My dining room smelled incredible, and now I have neat little glass bottles of super fresh herbs.

they are mostly targeting black employees so this is quite literally just a repeat of woodrow wilsonโs segregationist purge of the federal government
