I was able to get my hands on a VCR with Video out, so now I am able to screen capture my consoles with Coaxial including the Atari 2600 and Intellivision. :3 This gives me an idea for maybe either an Atari or Intellivision stream at some point. 💜

i feel i never mentioned being strongly one way or the other in terms of censorship but go off

its hard to communicate what i mean with such little characters, but i dont mean complete censorship. i play video games and have my whole life im not saying we cant have media that has darker themes
this conversation is more grey, im not speaking in absolutes

i dont believe it is especially with how romanticized terrible acts such as rape are, crazy to assume how fiction hasnt had any impact in the normalization of that

how just saying "its fiction it doesnt matter!" isnt enough. im not for total censorship btw but theres clearly a connecting line between fiction and how it can impact how people feel about real world issues.

i havent used this app in a long time. the author of the jaws books regrets how he portrays sharks because of how the public perception of sharks shifted. it caused an increase of illegal shark hunting and more. it shows how fiction impacts the perception folks on certain topics.
