AND she had her first weekend away to Liverpool to see Inhaler. See? Smashing it. And I’m so lucky to have not one, but TWO incredible daughters because the younger one has started college to do GCSEs! For someone who has been out of education for two years she’s doing amazing.

Lots of tearful phone calls were had but I’m starting to get used to it. She’s having a ball, lots of gorgeous photos of her around the leafy autumnal campus, and she is smashing it. Honestly couldn’t be prouder! She went to a record stall and bought me some Roxy Music vinyl….

So while I’ve been away, I’ve had my heart brutally ripped from my chest! Well as in my eldest girl started Warwick uni and is living in! I’m due lots of you have been through it but gosh it’s hard isn’t it? It felt almost like a break up! I was an absolute wreck for the first two weeks..

So I’m good, finally have an appointment (pre op) about removing the metal from my knee which has caused all the trouble. So if all goes well and I get the op in the next few weeks as planned…next year I’ll will be back in action on a dance floor near you!

So I had my first post cancer mammogram two weeks ago, and I’ve been absolutely terrified since. Anxiety off the scale. Just called because I couldn’t stand not knowing and I’m thrilled to say I got the all clear. Can’t express the relief I’ve feeling. Emotional mess.

First night on my own tonight for yonks! Lyla at her Dads and Ava is on her first proper night out since she turned 18 on holiday. Got 5 girls camped out in my dining room tonight! I’m the only parent in the group who lets them all sleep over so feel quite privileged ❤️
