While I was in Japan last year I was honestly super surprised at the lines in like Donki or other cheap stores. Like you will waste 30-60 minutes to stand in each line to save what, 30 USD total after 2 weeks? It makes sense for larger purchases, but people would stand to save literal cents. Crazy

It’s crazy how often people link Japan with minimalism and yet, most of their packaging of everyday products screams at you with a myriad of different fonts, wild colors and pictures.
