Alina Boden, who interned with us last year, has just started a PhD at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg! She’ll study embodied cognitive reserve using behavioral training, advanced MRI, and multivariate analysis. All the best on this exciting path!

Our colleague @elenasmeenk.bsky.social is moving on to new challenges at the Medical School Hamburg! Elena will be joining a Parkinson’s research project and starting her PhD in the field of neurodegenerative diseases. Wishing her all the best on this exciting journey!

Workshop Time! Since we plan to work more with Git in the future, our colleague Dr. Johannes Keyser held a workshop and introduced us to the functions and how to use it best.

We have a new addition to our lab! 🎉 Last week, we proudly welcomed a Biosen C-Line lactate and glucose meter, which will now support our research. ☺️

We're excited to welcome Mona Herden as an associated doctoral researcher in our Team. 🎉 In her PhD, she explores how effort preferences shape performance across ages, focusing on children as the foundation for lifelong development, using physiological, developmental, and neuroscientific approaches.

We had an awesome team dinner with guest researcher @mbieleke.bsky.social, who visited us this week. Thanks for your visit and the interesting exchange.
