I don’t like the way social media makes it look like everything is going well all the time. So here are some of my paintings that did not turn out so well.

Made my first two paintings. (They’re bookmarks) Mixed feeling. 😂 Lessons learned: gonna need to use a heat gun or hairdryer cuz patience is not my thing and don’t over do it. The mountain one had only a few plants at the front and it looked good but I overthought it and added more and like it less.

I watched this video of Aurora ♥️ performing for my hometown radio kexp and was so moved by her conversation about how the world has seemingly stopped following its heart and often chooses power over compassion and care. It’s why I feel so disconnected all the time.
