This news brings me sadness.
Hearing the news of the death of Patricia Routledge, memories came flooding back of one of her most famous characters. I watched back to back episodes of Keeping Up Appearances when I returned from my long stint in hospital in 2007.

Cars have to beg to cross and it's always the green man for pedestrians unless it's clear and then it changes for cars and immediately changes back to red. They have one in London. Let the roll out continue!

Forest Rec parkrun this morning.
10 years to the day we left London to go interrailing around Europe. Paris, Rome, Venice, Munich, Berlin and Amsterdam. Today, we happened to be in London so went back to Edgware Road to do a retake of the photo as the journey began!

We closed Abbeville Road in Clapham to cars for a few hours today and something truly radical and transformative happened.
We saw a community grow.
People came out to chat, laugh, listen, gossip, eat, drink and share.
Just proves that streets are for people not just for cars.
It was! Thank you!

Today I got the train up to Sheffield to marshal Kidical Mass Sheffield! What a turnout! Hundreds of families enjoying cycling. Hoping to get high numbers at our Kidical Mass Nottingham ride on 1st June! It leaves at 11am from Victoria Embankment Children's Cycle Park. #kidicalmass

It's Stop Food Waste day. So much food that's perfectly fine is chucked away.

I rarely order from Amazon but if I do I always get my orders delivered to these hubs. One less vehicle down my street.
Why? Less space taken up on my street. Less distance travelled. Less pollution. Less danger in residential areas. Less stress for the driver etc.
I brought these back from Australia. They sell them in Sainsbury's here. ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
