Around 88-89 we got a couple/few bikes per company in 3/505, 3rd Bde, 82nd.
Proved pretty hard to man, wasn't much of a training system that I recall. Relied on the chance guys had dirt bike experience.
Tended to have limited use as messenger/resupply. Panniers would likely have helped
