Their books have been released in Chinese, French, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese. This is the author’s long awaited English debut.

Their work has been making waves for several years now, even being featured and supported by the Angouleme comics artist residency. They are an invited artist at MoCCA 2025, and have recently had several major releases including their latest, CONSOLE 2073.

Vampires, kaiju, ancient fish eggs, and silent underwater cities, all overlapping with the vicissitudes and precarity of starting to find your way in the world.

Ding Pao-Yen is a young comic artist from Taiwan.

Join us this summer for a zine fest celebrating indie publishing, and our community. Featuring a selection of indie publishers, a zine swap table, and live printing.

We will be working together to organize, preserve, and document the library in text and images. You'll work from the PS headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NY. Flexible hours, looking for one half day per week for the duration of the project, likely a few months. We can offer you $25 per hour.

SEEKING SUMMER ARCHIVAL INTERN
We are looking for an assistant to archive and document the Paradise Systems Chinese comics library. Must be comfortable reading Chinese comics (simplified and traditional) and writing about them in English. A background in translation is a plus.
