I hate this era.

History is filled with mass murderers. Men who fuel their crippling insecurities and all-consuming hate for minorities, immigrants and “others” with indiscriminate acts of violence and depravation. Pete Hegseth is the latest abomination.

The next administration MUST prosecute this psychopath.

For one week, however, we opted for peace, broke bread and enjoyed common ground. The world outside of our little bubble rolled on and passed us by. For that, I gave thanks.

Just back from a long trip to see family. It’s good to unplug from the world and be grounded by loved ones. There was no talk of politics, religion or other divisive issues. Would there have been conflict if we had? Absolutely. We all knew it.
