Familiar faces were much appreciated, in particular the actress playing the Harry character. Slapstick? You betcha, you couldn't scrape that slap off with a shovel.

One of the strongest actors moved on this year, and was replaced by a couple of new faces in this show; they both played over-the-top farcical characters and movingly decent characters in the same show.

The multitalented actors have been really good, with acrobats, puppeteers and puppet designers being some of the highlights.

It was just right, but part of that might have been watching the Jobsite company at work; they've been really good this year, with wide-ranging shows from tragic to surreal to hilarious, with both some familiar plays and some new ones.

I had a port wine cocktail just because I thought it would, ahem, suck, but it was pretty good.

The Puffs show is a madcap farce/satire thingy based on the Harry Potter books. I don't *think* Rowling is connected to it, but ehhh, we went.

Yesterday went to the Puffs show at the Straz in Tampa, the end of our season tickets for the Jobsite theater company.

First we went to Dracula's Legacy (a wine bar) and had an excessive number of small plate things, all good, and silly Drac-themed cocktails.

*Torturous Tortoise Negotiations.

It's torturous negotiations all the way down.

Yup.

Therapist: and what do we do when we feel bad about ourselves?

Me: Write a book about how much we suck, crowdfund it, and use the proceeds to pay the therapy bill

The writer equivalent of dying during sex.

But are they exactly the right socks? Then it's worth it.

Heh. Same.
