This morning my parents got a letter from a company called Pure Cremation and on the envelope it said “Start 2025 with some good news and our free leaflet.”

Stepping beyond the Social Nickwork ✨

I had a very good system where Nick would just send me good Bluesky posts and I didn’t have to actually have an account! But to be fair there IS something appealing about “like Twitter, but when it was only 2022-ish levels of bad.”

Ok yes “happy” is overstating it.

Honestly I was quite happy not being on social media at all. A better way to live.
