Book: Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Undset ... for being an amazing character study as well as work of historical fiction. I could not stop listening to this.
Movie: Guardians of the Galaxy ... I love misfit stories and this is the best misfit superhero movie IMO. Plus, awesome soundtrack.
Album: Moving Pictures by Rush. ... Loved Rush the first time I heard then, and this is quintessential Rush, which is saying something for a band with their amazing multi-decade history
TV show: Orphan Black ... I'm always up for a bit of SF-flavor conspiracy theory. Tatiana Maslany portrays all her clones turning in 4 years of great performances of clones with radically different personalities.

Kaos not getting renewed really bummed me out. I loved how they reimagined Ancient Greece in modern terms. Loved Eurydice in particular, but really, all the characters were at least good. And, of course, you're permanently cliffhung. Bah. Still... if you like the Greek myths, I recommend it.
