We were out late last night at The Beaches concert, and this morning we were out of coffee. It's been a rough day after a trying week.

I have stress-baked pizza with sourdough crust and a batch of salted caramel chocolate chip cookies tonight.

He's definitely a lapdog, I have a 50 pound version.

We had this as tuna or salmon latkes (or both) when I was growing up. I was always excited by it. I didn't realize back then that it was a struggle meal. I was full and happy.

I adhere to this lifestyle belief.

We got fewer than 20 trick or treaters tonight, including a middle aged Chinese woman walking her dog.

Best costume was a 5 year old dressed up as a Go Train.

I completely dropped the ADHD masking this week at work while handling a crisis and it can be downright terrifying for those people who are used to the masked version of me.

The university and the PIs already went over all my info when I applied. That's enough.

30 years ago today, I remember going with my parents and grandparents to vote in the referendum. Our car was ready to go that night with our important things. If things went differently, that night we were running away to stay Canadian. I remember it so clearly.

I once hauled one of those giant wicker chair frames plus cushion from Pier 1 on the bus and subway by myself during rush hour. It destroyed me.

I enjoy flowing into Union station, stopping to pee and maybe grab a snack before hopping on the subway or the train. I'm never in a state where I could drive. The subway or train ride home after a win is something special.
