It's time that politicians of all parties worked together on a holistic vision for cycling in Ely with a plan for how to achieve it. @sustrans.bsky.social feasibility study for East Cambs District Council looked at the broader city & included suggestions such as making parts of Lynn Road one-way.

Lynn Road, Ely: "Hopkins Homes will now seek to progress the application to not install a cycle route."
This is NOT the message we need to see in our region, where new developments should be improving facilities for people walking & cycling rather than adding additional pressures.

We've previously expressed scepticism about the Baulk Path being included in the GCP's Barton Greenway.
However, we now believe that the route offers a viable & valuable link that will help create a more connected and accessible active travel network.
