People come to pay their very genuine respects (especially in Zhuge Liang's case). They leave personal letters, it's very sweet.
Using the wrong term is erasure of a distinct history, and it blurs all the differences in cultural context.

When "yaoi" is described as going back to Harry Potter, we know they haven't done their research.
When the AO3 is described as a "social media site", we know they haven't done their research.
This really, really bothers me.
Fujoshi is simply not the correct term when you're talking about a Western fandom. The two streams are distinct.
Just look at him haha

The Cao Cao/Guo Jia one is "The Ruthless Lord of Wei Favours Loveable Fengxiao [GJ's style name]" and the one with Chen Gong is "After My Death He Who Is All Powerful Goes Mad With Regret".
The most famous mole in China 😂

Dongbei people are hardy, passionate and friendly.
Their accent is often stereotyped within China as representing a lack of sophistication but also a kind of straightforward and bold approach to life.
The Dongbei region is an agricultural and industrial heartland with harsh and long winters.
Since the 90s many of the smaller cities and towns have fallen behind as the rest of the country raced ahead, with mass layoffs from formerly bustling factories and low wages.
I grew up in Dongbei, and yet I've always been afraid of winter. I don't like getting too close to other people and hiding myself away became a habit. Years ago, because of my fear of snow, I left for the South alone, thinking that if I went far enough, I could get over it. Returning home...feeling the bracing cold winds once again, this land is familiar to me, but it still makes me uneasy. By chance I met a new group of people. We bicker incessantly everyday, in a way that's inexplicable to me. I always thought I came here to heal others. The harsh winter I'd done everything to escape became a temporary refuge. Snow is still falling on this city. But when I see the smiling faces around me, it doesn't seem so cold.

Han dynasty stone relief found in Deng county, Henan
In 1994 Three Kingdoms, the court robes (朝服) worn by the officials are based on actual uniform worn in the Han Dynasty.
Civil officials wore black & a hat called "Jinxian-guan"(进贤冠) while military is red & a "wuguan"(武冠) or "wubian"(武弁)-hat, sometimes decorated with two pheasant feathers. -> (1/7)
People who comment on clearly labelled WIPs that haven't been updated for 5 years complaining about them not being finished: why do you think that's acceptable behaviour.

Loooool
Honestly this kind of shit is so common in the smuttier novels that I don't even blink now.
This is extremely accurate
