Republican allowed into El Salvador prison, as Democrat denied access

Republican Rep. Riley Moore was inside El Salvador's high-security Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT) on Wednesday.

We spoke with North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Allison Riggs after a state court ruling put 65k ballots in her race at risk.

Along with promising to appeal the ruling, Justice Riggs described how this is "a fight for the very soul of democracy."

Scientists at the CDC were ordered late on Friday to withdraw any pending publications, at any scientific journal, that mention terms such as “transgender,” “immigrant,” “LGBT” or “pregnant people.”

The main office of the US Agency for International Development in Washington was illegally closed Monday and workers were emailed by a 22 year old with no official govt role and with no qualifications telling them they should not come in, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.
