#Buffalo Baseball Hall of Famer Dan Carnevale was born #OTD in 1918. He played for (1938, 1940) and managed (1955) the #Bisons, and was also the team’s general manager (1957-58) and vice president (1961).

Charlie Jamieson was born #OTD in 1893. He won 30 games pitching for #Buffalo from 1912 to 1914, then hit .307 as an outfielder for the 1915 #Bisons. Went on to play outfield for 18 seasons in the major leagues. Led the A.L. with 222 hits in 1923 & hit .359 for Cleveland in 1924.

Frank LaPorte was born #OTD in 1880. He played three seasons in #Buffalo. Hit .331 for the Herd in 1905. Played 11 big-league seasons. Led the Federal League with 107 RBI in 1914 for Indianapolis. #Bisons
