I am a serious professional scientist. I am also a commissioner of climate change and have to discuss practical and pragmatic solutions with people who disagree strongly with climate action. I have a calm and optimism-driven approach to climate action.

Right? "Abnormally delayed" really got me, and also all the delicately phrased feedback from satisfied consumers. Imagining the lives improved. Such careful phrasing shouldn't have to happen but it's heartening to know it's really not new.
