I think it's a little bit simpler than STAR TREK ADVENTURES.
I wasn't that familiar with it, but I like meta-currencies as a concept - which some folks dislike - and I like that when making a skill test, the GM picks the skill, and the player picks the "Attitude" (and must justify which one)

Some of you not be aware that @modiphius.bsky.social created an excellent SPACE 1999 RPG (that uses the 2D20 system). Can certainly recommend!

SPACE 1999 RPG is a decent use of the 2D20 system, prioritising narrative and character over combat mechanics - though a stun gun shootout in a scenario is a must for me!

Well done @jonmarkhicks.bsky.social - RAPTURE PROTOCOL is the most accessible ALIEN RPG scenario (easy to get to the table, and the most painless to tweak to taste).

I also enjoy the greatest hits aspect - it features something from every Alien movie, & nicely subverts expectations in the first act

Once again, been pouring over THE FALL OF DELTA GREEN rulebook - great fuckin hardback. Nicely evokes the otherness of interdimensional beings!

This game effectively changed my life and introduced me to some wonderful lifelong friends, but it also saw me spend money on Antiquities in '94 that I needed for food.
When I moved to Nottingham (around ironically the EXODUS release in '98), I purged myself of the addiction.

This is a really good, very playable ALIEN RPG adventure.

I feel like those names are fine in a board game, like I did with LIFEFORM, but when you have to repeat the names over and over in an RPG setting, they stick out.

I think this is a great ALIEN adventure.

But I find the names of the NPCs a little jarring, but not everyone would even notice (Reiser, Hurd, etc). I'd probably also change the name of the mined metal from Promethium to something less obvious.
