Don’t take this as “waaah why can’t people fake being happy” cause that’s not what I’m trying to say, nor ignore the problems.
I just think people indulge way too much into negativity and that is a complaint a lot can agree on.
This isn’t just with Pokemon as I have the same problems elsewhere

It just feels weird how people complain about something this much it sounds like they hate it but then they buy into it, so it’s just confusing how people don’t wanna just casually enjoy something despite it’s things. Not everyone, but you get what I mean.
Just rambling about stuff, cause why not.

I’m at that point of decline with enjoying the franchise like I was with scarlet and violet where idk if I even wanna continue liking Pokemon since everywhere I go is just complaining and it’s heart breaking for a comforting franchise I grew up with.

I’ve always felt like things just been consistent for a franchise as big as Pokemon, and yet people still buy into it. I don’t as much as I use to since things get expensive as time passes, but if I have 100 hours in a game I can’t say I didn’t enjoy myself cause I always do with Pokemon-

Like don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying peoples criticisms aren’t valid, I even fall on the same line with a few of these. But when there’s nothing I can do about it, I just wanna like enjoy something despite its flaws. I don’t hate the franchise nor do I think it has really changed-

As critical I am with Pokemon, I still enjoy the franchise but it’s just so tiring to go anywhere and hear the same 5 recycled complaints I’ve been hearing since sword and shield.
Like I get it’s not a perfect franchise but it’s just draining to be negative all the time-

i dont typically say this, but that was the worst direct partner showcase ive seen. at least we get something, ANYTHING good as a surprise.
but we already knew most games were coming to switch 1 and 2

well, heres hoping for a good partner showcase with a lot of ports from these third parties.

Even if we don’t get anything tomorrow. It was fun to be hyped for xeno stuff again!
