Color schemes are always essential. Different colors can have different meanings and make the player feel different moods. I would definitely focus on color schemes especially if mood is what you're tryna achieve.

Smart choice to start with breaking down the mechanics into words rather than jumping into developing. Kinda wish I thought of that, would've saved lots of time. The mechanics for this game sound really interesting, can't wait to play it.

Using a Bullet Hole tutorial from spaderdabomb on YouTube I now know how to use decals. All I got to do now is turn bullet holes to paint splats.

β€œGalatea” is an interactive fiction similar to β€œColossal Cave Adventure” and the playability is REALLY annoying. Some prompts don’t work so you basically have to keep guessing prompts till something works.

So in β€œnectar thief” you travel a garden in a text-based game. The gameplay is similar to a Twine game but the player actually gets to type instead of just clicking options.

I like the idea of a "choose your own adventure" console game where you make choices, like choosing if you like your coffee hot or cold. I assume at the end it will relay all your choices back to the player. Can't wait to play it!

For my "Guess the Number" program I had to add boolean values to make sure the "Guess again" message wasn't being spammed over and over again. But I also had to make sure that no message was being spammed over the course of the program.

It's been a while since I last programmed in C#, but I have programmed in C++, so it shouldn't be too difficult to learn. This is just me messing with the Random.Range function, which I kind of enjoy working with. I believe adding randomness to games increases replayability.

After playing around in Maya, I created a movie camera. I was aiming for something old-timey, like a 1960s camera, and it really brings the whole scene together. I might make some other props, like a director's chair, to build on the fact that you're on a set.

In Titanic 2 you essentially experience falling to the bottom of the ocean. The walking feature is unavailable until you reach the bottom, so you spend your time just falling and looking around.

Okay, so after finding some free assets, I was able to build the movie set. The only problem now is that assets for everything behind the camera are not free, so I guess I'll have to make those. Maya can't be that hard to learn, right? Guess we gonna find out.
