It surprised me because I thought the first two Little Nightmares games were just sorta ok and I hated LN3 so much that it made me question whether or not I liked this style of game at all anymore. It turns out I just needed to see some nasty pigs and a boat.

I think my experience with Nioh 2 was what a lot of people had with the first Dark Souls. Figuring it all out and slowly getting better at it was a magical experience I'll always remember fondly.
