It’s the most wonderful coming together of TGD people and allies. As we see politics try to drag us to a place of radical intolerance towards difference, I strongly believe that community is the antidote. This is important and wonderful.

Today @samhellkin.bsky.social has put on the first Trans Book Festival at the @wheelercentre.bsky.social in Naarm. The absolute who’s who of TGD writers and a full house to see them speak.

It’s all been a bit humorous in the wests’s littlest hamlet but this is an issue in the west: trucks on residential roads. I thought it might keep house prices down but that’s kind of out of the bag so I’m team get rid of the trucks now.

There were some key moments including the police wandering off from their traffic management role and a whole bunch of cars heading on the wrong side of the road towards the lines that were down.

A truck is stuck! On the corner of Victoria and Gammon Streets. The driver has bashed his way down the little main street of Seddon, where he should not have been driving, and then brought down the power lines.

Some of you may not know the regard in which I was held on the bird site for my coverage of flooding events at the Middle Footscray underpass. Sadly, the drainage issues have been fixed.

But happily, the little village has a new drama!!

This made me very happy. The cherry on top of him getting absolutely thrashed.

While he stands there being all sad and stuff, remember he's still litigating all over the globe to try and stifle the very credible multiple allegations of domestic violence against him

Just as Zverev is about to speak at the trophy ceremony, a woman repeatedly shouts:

“Australia Believes Olya and Brenda! Australia Believes Olya and Brenda!”

Broke through the silence.

Younger folk may ask ‘who was Kevin Andrews?’

He was the Social Services Minister in 2013-14. I will speak neutrally about what I recall of him, because he’s dead.

Condolences to his family, friends and those who liked him.

*takes a deep breath*

Education inequality is a blight on this country. If the rich get the best education, it reinforces and entrenches poverty. Utterly shameful.

Plibersek had nature positive deal in writing before Albanese vetoed without her knowledge Exclusive: Environment minister agreed detail with Greens but the PM intervened after lobbying from WA premier and miners

Plibersek has been served up a diet of shit sandwiches all term, and Albanese decided to give her a side dish of roasted shit just to make sure she understood what her role is.

This is very damaging stuff by Albanese. Won't help them in WA but will hurt elsewhere

Labor passes migration and social media ban bills after marathon Senate sitting More than 30 pieces of legislation pass the upper house amid a flurry of deals with the Coalition and Greens

No matter the content of the legislation, the Senate dealing with 32 bills in one day is a sad abrogation of the proper scrutiny role of the upper house and an approach that can only erode public confidence in the Parliament. 1/2 #auspol

I deleted the bird app a year ago for various reasons but mainly because I didn’t want to support Elon.

Anyway it’s SO nice to see so many people reassembled here, especially in this time of media uselessness.

I’m proud that Liberty Victoria stands with a swathe of other civil society organisations to oppose the Albanese Government’s cruelty towards migrants, refugees and people seeking asylum.
