also it sounds like its Sega of America, which tbh now sounds like them being upset *their* specific type of merch isn’t selling well. which well no shit, their offerings are some of the worst? those impressive collections i speak of that include official merch aren’t involving SoA thats for sure

so does Sega know the fans who buy the fan merch also usually spend a lot on official merch? they’ve seen the collections these fans post??? these fans are the ones funding heavily in between games. the casual fans who aren’t invested don’t buy merch, hell they aren’t buying games day 1 either
