This is really good to see: Miki Sherrill just put out a statement sharply criticizing the Senate Dems' pending cave in the government shutdown, ripping it as "malpractice" and a betrayal of the people who are "counting on us to fight for them." Sherrill knows what drove her victory. Wake up, Dems.

?🤔 FDR is my favorite president, but he was a liberal, not a democratic socialist. He believed in capitalism. His policies were intended to rein in capitalism's excesses & cycles, and regulate it. He wanted to rebuild Americans' faith in the capitalist system after the 1929 crash & Great Depression.

I've said this many times. The GOP story has never changed since FDR, and they hold a grudge about it. It might be a good time to remind everyone that an R president sends this nation into a Depression or a Recession every. single. time.

According to presidential historians, FDR was our second-greatest president after Abraham Lincoln.

FDR rescued the nation from the Great Depression, created Social Security, helped allies fighting fascism, and led America to victory through much of World War II in multiple theaters.

Our current Democrat centrists like Chuck Schumer are farther right than Dwight Eisenhower was 65 years ago. This resulted from decades of appeasement to the GOP and corporations. We need fighters like AOC, Crocket, Sanders and Mamdani.
