And then we got on the bus…
(Lot of other people in suit and tie on buses in East London at midday on the weekend, as you can imagine… still, ❤️ being here with the world’s most wonderful woman - and soon my hair will be long enough for the red treatment too, eh?)

The bugs on the crops in Somerset seem to have really gotten out of hand. As seen in Bath, Somerset:

Be warned Crouch Hill, you might think Nigel Farage hasn’t found lefty London, but he has snuck a party office in using a sneaky stealth strategy:

So pleased I can finally stream this beautifully raw and brilliant song on Apple Music - though have to admit it’s more fun to see the cat on YouTube. Love it.

I would but I'll be listening on Apple Music!

Photography tips: it is unflattering to shoot with a wide angle from near the face AND, it seems, unflattering to ask your subject to pull a ‘Jeremy’ expression… (that's my excuse…)

Don’t know what you’re complaining about. Easily amongst the 7 best years of the decade.

Apols for invading your timelines with shameless self-promotion but if your kids received gift cards for Christmas, might I suggest pointing them in the direction of my Notwitches books? They've had some very nice things said about them lately, and book 1 was in The I Paper's 14 Best Books of 2025.🧙‍♀️

Today I “had” to walk halfway across London. The spies were watching me, I tell you…

As seen in Bath yesterday, is it a Cathedral or is it that blood cells diagram from my school textbooks? Platelet counts don’t feel very Christmassy to me!

Amazing and interesting lecture too, as well as reassuring to know that we’ve got a little longer before the machines take over - we’ll, of their own choice any way.

Why not?

Love you Ari and don’t mind a bit.

By the way, read carefully observers: I offered no hypothesis of my own, just a cup of tea.

Plus it’s difficult to imagine Reform knowing how to maintain a country’s sewage system (or power, water, gas… ok, they make a lot of ‘gas’ from their mouths…) but anyway…

Love you very much - and, as ever, it was a pleasure eating out with you while not being recorded for the assessment of Channel 4’s viewers (presumably we wouldn’t quite qualify as ‘first date’)

Don’t I sound just the best person to be out with? Never causing a scene (though to be fair here it’s virtually impossible to!)

The fact ‘fair cars’ is boarded up doesn’t seem to be terribly encouraging for either its fairness or the fairness of capitalism as a structure for—— oh, I’ll stop this, I sound like a [bleep]
