I would say not 100%, but definitely 99.5%. Red peppers are still not as pleasant to me as they used to be and my sense of smell is I think slightly worse and slightly different, although nothing I can really put my finger on

It was pretty weird!

I lost my sense of taste completely during COVID but for literally years afterwards there were some smells and tastes that were completely changed. Boiling rice made me gag for some reason. Red peppers tasted strongly of eggy sulphur and still do a tiny amount. I'd have preferred envelopes tbh 😂
